Publié le - AdobeStock Le fournisseur de données, d’indices et de services financiers TMX VettaFi a acquis, mardi 17 juin, le média londonien ETF Stream, lancé en 2018 et dédié au marché européen des fonds indiciels cotés (ETF). Le montant déboursé par la filiale de l’opérateur de la Bourse de Toronto n’a pas été dévoilé. « L’acquisition d’ETF Stream représente une étape importante dans notre stratégie d’étendre les capacités digitales et d’analyse de données de TMX VettaFi en Europe et au Royaume-Uni », a indiqué le président de TMX VettaFi, Tom Hendrickson. ETF Stream continuera d’évoluer sous sa marque tout en intégrant le groupe TMX VettaFi. Ce dernier a réalisé quatre autres acquisitions depuis 2023 : les anciens indices obligataires de Credit Suisse en février 2025, la firme iNDEX Research en octobre 2024, le fournisseur d’indices thématiques EQM Indexes en septembre 2023 et la suite d’indices de ROBO Global en avril 2023. TMX VettaFi répertorie plus de 700 indices, répliqués par des fonds cumulant 53 milliards de dollars et utilisés comme indices de référence par des fonds représentant 41 milliards de dollars d’encours.
