More than forty cybersecurity merger and acquisition (M&A) deals were announced in June 2025. An analysis conducted by SecurityWeek shows that 405 cybersecurity-related mergers and acquisitions were announced in 2024. Check out the detailed report Here is a list of the most important cybersecurity M&A deals announced in June 2025: Enterprise software giant Atlassian has announced the acquisition of Borneo for its security and privacy observability platform. Borneo allows organizations to identify and address data risks, and the acquisition will enable Atlassian to enhance its security and monitoring capabilities in Atlassian Guard. Bitdefender has announced plans to buy Israel-based email security solutions provider Mesh Security. Mesh's email security technology and capabilities will be integrated into Bitdefender's XDR platform and MDR services. Forensic investigation solutions provider Cellebrite announced an agreement to acquire virtualization software firm Corellium in a $200 million deal. Both companies have been at the center of controversy in recent years. Data security company Cyera, which recently raised $540 million, has acquired Otterize, a firm that specializes in securing cloud-native non-human identities and data flows, in a deal valued at tens of millions of dollars. The deal enables Cyera to expand its data security platform. Data governance, compliance, and protection solutions provider Kiteworks has acquired Netherlands-based email security firm Zivver.
