Middlesbrough unveil new home kit for 2025-26 season with nod to Riverside move 30 years ago Middlesbrough unveiled the new kit at an event at the Riverside Stadium 19:52, 2 JUL 2025 Bookmark Aidan Morris, Hayden Hackney and Tommy Conway model the new Middlesbrough home kit for the 2025-26 season (Image: Middlesbrough FC) Get the latest Teesside Live breaking news on WhatsApp Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Middlesbrough have unveiled their brand new home kit for the upcoming 2025-26 season - their first under new supplier Castore, and new head coach Rob Edwards. Boro unveiled the new threads at a special event at the Riverside, with supporters given the opportunity to attend the event in the Legends Lounge to get a first glimpse at the new kits. Red with a white band across the lower chest, it’s an unmistakable Boro kit. Most noticeable is the two-tone red design which the club say is a design to symbolise the Ayresome Gates. This year is the 30th anniversary of the club’s move from Ayresome to the Riverside. In terms of unique/new features, the kit has a white trim at the bottom of the sleeves, and features a V-neck collar with white trim too. The white band is lower than last season’s kit, featuring below the badge and Castore logo, and instead houses the Unibet sponsorship logo. The new kit for the 2025-26 season will also be the final kit to feature the current club badge. The club are in the process of creating a new club crest, which will launch next season in line with the anniversary celebrations. The new crest will be a permanent change, rather than a temporary change for the anniversary year only. Unibet will also take over the front-of-shirt sponsorship of the Women’s kits, while Utilita are welcomed as a new partner for junior kits. Perco Foods will be the new back-of-shirt sponsor, and Telcoss the new sleeve sponsor, with both Teesside firms displayed on first team kits as well as adult and junior replicas. Ohio-based battery designer, marketer and manufacturer NOCO are the new back-of-shorts partner on the first team and Women’s kits as Boro look to maximise revenue potential in a difficult financial climate. The home kit is the first made by new supplier Castore, who replaced Errea this summer in a multi-year deal. The British-based sportswear company only moved into football in 2020, starting at Rangers and expanding since, albeit with some high-profile errors along the way. Boro are hoping they’ve learned from such mistakes, with the deal with Castore including next season, where they’re tasked with making Boro’s kits for the 150th anniversary season. The new home shirt is immediately available to pre-order online at mfcofficialdirect.co.uk , with the pre-order period open until 4 pm on Wednesday, July 9 and is priced at £60 for adults and £48 for junior, infant (full kit) and baby (full kit) . Pre-orders will be out for delivery/available for collection to coincide with general sale and the club shop reopening on Saturday, July 12. New Castore club leisure and training wear will also be available with the store open 10am-7pm on the Saturday and 10am-4pm on the Sunday.
