E törekvés egyik gyakorlati megnyilvánulásaként a Windows 11 hamarosan hivatalosan is összebútorozik a 1Passworddel , hogy a felhasználók végre elhagyhassák a jelszavakat. Az új partnerség lehetővé teszi, hogy a 1Password felhasználói közvetlenül a jól ismert tárcájukba mentsék el a passkeyeket, azaz jelszókulcsokat, és onnan is használják őket az operációs rendszerben - ráadásul teljesen natív módon, Windows Hello azonosítással megtámogatva. Az új funkció bekapcsolása után a rendszer egy arcfelismeréses, ujjlenyomatos vagy PIN-alapú azonosítással igazolja a felhasználót, majd onnantól kezdve minden gördülékenyen zajlik. A meglévő passkeyek kiválasztása, új belépési kulcsok létrehozása, mentése és használata egyaránt zökkenőmentes lesz, amennyiben az adott weboldal is támogatja ezt a technológiát. És mivel a Windows Hello itt nemcsak biztonsági szerepet játszik, hanem kényelmi funkciót is betölt, a belépések gyakorlatilag egy mozdulattal történnek majd. Hirdetés A 1Password eddig is komolyan vette a passkey-forradalmat, de a Windows 11-es integráció egy újabb mérföldkő. A platform már most is elérhető Macen, iOS-en, Androidon és a legnépszerűbb böngészőkön - így a Chrome, az Edge, a Firefox, a Brave és Safari is játszik -, a különbség leginkább az integráció szintjében van. A macOS például nem engedi használni a saját Keychain API-ját, de ettől még a 1Password ott is működik, ahogy kell. Most viszont a Windows végre elsőosztályú hozzáférést ad, és ezzel lényegében a 1Password passkey-ökoszisztémája teljes lett - asztalon, mobilon, böngészőben egyaránt. A színfalak mögött a Microsoft ezzel azt is üzeni a többi fejlesztőnek, hogy szívesen látja őket is. A redmondiak részletes API-dokumentációval segítik a hitelesítésmenedzserek fejlesztőit, hogy natívan építhessenek a Windows 11-re.
