His ability to turn data intelligence into growth across partnerships strategy and execution, will help us deepen our impact and expand further, globally.” Wechsler joins Plume from OMERS Ventures, where he focused on Fintech and served as an industry thought leader on trends such as AI and blockchain. Prior to OMERS, he led smart home strategy, growth initiatives, and partnerships for Comcast and Hippo Insurance. Wechsler is also a multi-time founder and serial entrepreneur primarily in the IoT sector. “I’ve spent most of my career at the intersection of connectivity, IoT, and emerging technology,” explained Wechsler. “We are past the AI hype cycle and it’s now about delivering real, operational impact customers can feel.
